I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years and love what I do.
In addition to therapy, I train therapists around the world as an AEDP Senior Faculty member and have been an invited speaker with various conferences, institutions and organizations, including the AEDP Institute, the Cape Cod Institute, the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW),
Some of my credentials:
Senior Faculty member, Supervisor and Certified Therapist with the Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) Institute
Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT) Therapist and Supervisor
Certificate in Advanced Clinical Work with the NYU School of Social Work
Graduate of the Martha K Selig Institute with the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services
Masters in Clinical Social Work from New York University
Before private practice, I worked as a therapist in the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services outpatient mental health clinic as a member of their LGBTQ treatment unit. In addition, I worked in Greenwich House’s AIDS Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Programs and developed a mental health program for college students studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
And before that, I was actor, playwright and theater company director in NYC.
With compassion, understanding and humor, I will work with you to help you build on your strengths and create change.
